Sebastien Henry, Managing Director & Head of Trade at  Agria Suisse Commodities, Switzerland

Sebastien has over 23 years of experience in international grains and oilseeds trading, with a strong focus on the Black Sea region. His career spans origination, trading, risk management, and the development of large-scale export platforms across Romania, Bulgaria, and the wider Danube corridor.
He began his career in vegetable oils and oilseed meals before moving into grains, where he played a key role in building and scaling Black Sea origination networks supplying Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. He has held senior trading and profit center leadership roles within major international commodity trading houses.
In 2025, Sebastien was appointed Managing Director and Head of Trade of Agria Suisse Commodities SA, the Swiss trading arm of Agria Group Holding (BSE: AGR). Based in Lausanne, he is responsible for establishing the group’s international trading platform, strengthening global partnerships, and connecting Black Sea origins to world markets through Switzerland’s trading hub.

Artem Hammerschmidt, Head of Vegoils and Biofuels Research at Ceras Analytics / Cefetra Group, Netherlands

Artem heads biofuels and feedstock research at Ceras Analytics, the market intelligence arm of Cefetra Group in Rotterdam, the Netherlands -- a leading global supplier of agricultural raw materials to the food and energy sectors worldwide with more than 120 years of experience in international trade.
Artem joined Cefetra Group in October 2021, specializing in the global markets for vegetable oils and biofuels. His primary role is to forecast supply, demand and prices of palm oil, soyoil, sun oil and rape oil with the key focus on the world markets of biodiesel (FAME), renewable diesel (HVO) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Artem is responsible for identifying current and prospective disparities in supply and demand of vegoils and biofuels to build successful trading strategies and minimize risks.
He is a regular participant in agriculture and energy industry events, presenting his research findings to international trading houses, food and feed manufacturers, energy companies, consultancy firms, and hedge funds across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
Prior to his current role, Artem spent more than 10 years at a research company in Germany, consulting clients in the oilseed, vegetable oil and oilmeal space in more than 100 countries.

John Daskalakis, Grains trader and operations at Soya Hellas, Greece

John is a Grains Trader at Soya Hellas S.A. in Athens, Greece, where he has been active since 2005.  He has over 20 years of experience in the grains trade, covering the end-to-end execution of transactions, from commercial negotiations and contract drafting through vessel chartering, surveys, customs clearance, and final delivery of goods.
He is solution-oriented and has extensive hands-on experience in managing day-to-day operations, including coordination with brokers, principals, shipowners, agents, surveyors, ports, and authorities, as well as the handling of distressed cargoes, claims, and problem-solving in complex logistical and contractual scenarios,  with a focus on maintaining continuity of supply and strengthening long-term commercial relationships.
John holds a degree in Applied Mathematics, supporting a structured and analytical approach to operational risk management, execution control, and decision-making across the grain supply chain.

Todor Stoykov, Trader and Chairman of the Management Board at Bulgarian Association of Grain and Feed Traders (BAGFT), Bulgaria

Todor is the Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Association of Grain and Feed Traders (BAGFT). He has represented Glencore Agriculture Bulgaria / Viterra Bulgaria in BAGFT since 2016 and became a member of the Management Board of the association in 2018. He was subsequently appointed as acting Chairman of the Management Board of BAGFT in 2021, before being elected as Chairman in 2023.
He is also the Manager and Senior Trader of Viterra Bulgaria. He started his career in agricultural commodities trading in 2015 as a Junior Trader in Glencore Grain Bulgaria and quickly moved up the ranks to lead the company’s business in Bulgaria in what globally today is Bunge. His prior work experience includes 4 years as a Management Consultant with KPMG Bulgaria, as well as Business Development Manager roles with IT and metals trading companies in Bulgaria.
He holds an MSc degree in Management, Organisations and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc degree in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University, Italy.

Victor Rombaut, Agricultural Producer and CEO at Agro Tsar Petrovo, Bulgaria

Victor manages a farm of 45000dka in Kula Municipality, Vidin region. Focused on grain, oil and essential oil crops, including wheat, sunflower, rose-hips, marigold, coriander and others. With 10 years of experience in and on the field, he has turned the farm to be soil focused by using innovative technologies. 

Masha Belikova, Grain market reporter focused on the BlackSea/Asian wheat and corn markets, Fastmarkets, Ukraine.

Masha began her career in the grain industry in 2014, contributing to global grain market coverage at the Ukraine-based freight analytics agency International Seaborne Market (ISM).
She joined the Ukraine-based Agricensus team in 2019 (later acquired by Fastmarkets), where she covers wheat and corn markets with a primary focus on the Black Sea region, alongside Australia and Asian markets.
Since the start of the war in Ukraine in February 2022, Masha has been widely quoted by international media including The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, and Al Jazeera on developments in the Ukrainian and Russian grain markets and the broader impact of the conflict.

Marcin Chim, Founder at SIGRUM Market Intelligence & Chief Broker at BST Brokers, Poland

Marcin is the founder of SIGRUM Market Intelligence and Chief Broker at BST Brokers (Poland). He advises companies across Poland and CEE on grains, oilseeds and protein meals, combining market intelligence with practical price and FX risk management. Dr. Iani Chihaia, President at Romanian Feed Manufacturers Association (ANFNC), Romania

Iani is an animal nutrition scientist and strategic development leader with over 30 years of international experience in animal nutrition, feed innovation, and commercially aligned R&D. He specializes in bridging science and market application, leading ingredient innovation, applied nutrition trials, and feed technology development across Europe, the United States, and emerging markets.He also serves as a Board Member of FEFAC, representing Romania in EU-level policy discussions.
As a founding member and current President of ANFNC, he supports the alignment of Romania’s feed industry priorities with EU regulatory and sustainability frameworks. Established in 2013, ANFNC is a non-profit association representing companies active in compound feeds, premixes, additives, and animal nutrition inputs, advocating for members’ interests before Romanian authorities and European institutions while promoting feed safety, quality standards, and sector competitiveness.
Over his career, Iani has led multi-country technical and market development initiatives, including 25 years as Regional Consultant for Europe with the U.S. Soybean Export Council. He has contributed extensively as a speaker and technical adviser at industry events, bridging scientific innovation with practical, market-oriented solutions for the feed and livestock sectors.

Cesar Soares, Consultant & Strategic Advisor at Cesar Augusto Soares, Switzerland

Cesar provides strategic consultancy and advisory services in the food commodity sectors, with a specialty in grains and oilseeds. His work supports clients with risk management and mitigation strategies and tools, cash trading strategies and implementation, asset investment strategies, analysis and trade intelligence services, organizational support, training and mentoring, sectoral analysis, and demand-side optimization.
He has over 27 years of experience in agricultural commodities trading and management across Africa, Europe, and the Black Sea, gained within large trading firms. Cesar has traded extensively across major trade flows from the Americas through to Asia and the Middle East, as well as from the Black Sea to North Africa, the Middle East, East Africa, and Asia. He is known for a deep analytical approach to markets, grounded in the importance of teams, contractual performance and excellence, and an understanding of scale as a key metric for sustainable growth in a highly consolidating supply side.
He also strongly believes that the pendulum has swung to the demand side—and that the opportunity of the future increasingly lies there.

Dragos Costin Telehuz, Agronomist & Co-owner at Telehuz Agriserv, Romania

Costin is an agronomist and co-owner of Telehuz Agriserv SRL, a family-run agricultural business based in Romania’s southern plain, in Ialomița County. Together with his brother, he manages a 680-hectare arable farm, of which 505 hectares are irrigated. The farm primarily operates under a no-till system, with partial implementation of strip-till practices, reflecting a strong commitment to modern, conservation-oriented agriculture.
With over three years of experience as Secretary of State within Romania’s Ministry of Agriculture (2022-2025), Costin has combined hands-on farming expertise with high-level public sector leadership. His experience in agricultural policy has strengthened his understanding of both national frameworks and on-the-ground realities facing Romanian farmers.
Actively involved in farmers’ organizations, he was recently elected chair of the Ialomița local association. He is a firm advocate for the continuous evolution of farming techniques, focusing on profitability, operational resilience, and long-term soil health. His work bridges innovation, policy, and practical farm management, positioning him as a forward-looking voice in Romanian agriculture.

Nina Teleaga, Chairman of the Supervisory Board at  Agrocereale Association of Agricultural Exporters and Importers, Moldova &  Chief Financial Officer at Rusagro-Prim, Moldova

Nina is a finance and corporate governance professional with over 17 years of experience in capital markets, regulatory compliance, and board leadership. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer of Rusagro-Prim and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Agrocereale Association, supporting the development of Moldova’s agricultural trade sector. Her background includes senior roles in banking, investment management, and corporate boards, with a focus on financial management, governance, and strategic development. She holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Finance.

Ibrahim Demirayak, Country Manager at Prime Trading, Turkiye

Ibrahim is the Country Manager for Turkiye of Prime Trading SA which is a trading company active in the Black Sea and the Middle East Region, specialized on the supply of grains, pulses, oils and oilseeds. 
With his experience of over 20 years in the agri industry, Ibrahim has served in several different roles before starting Prime Trading SA such as: execution, logistics, government tenders and agricultural project management. 
Ibrahim graduated from Anadolu University, Public Administration Department in 2004. He is married and has two children.
