Zlatomir Kovachev, Trader & Iberia Risk Management Lead at Cargill, Spain

Straight out of university and continuing to this day, Zlatomir has dedicated 13 formative years to Cargill, specializing in trading agricultural commodities, particularly grains. His expertise spans merchandising, risk management, market analysis, and supply chain optimization. Starting his career on the origination side of the industry in Bulgaria, he has acquired extensive knowledge of the Black Sea region. Over the past three years, he has embraced a new challenge by focusing on grain distribution in Spain and Portugal.
In addition, Zlatomir served as the President of the Bulgarian Association of Grain and Feed Traders and as a representative in Coceral. He has also led several sustainability projects within Cargill and remains deeply passionate about this topic.

Aleksandar Lalic, Trader and CEO at Agricom Company Group, Serbia

Aleksandar is food and feed, oils and oilseeds senior commodity trader as well as CEO, co-owner, shareholder and General Manager, since 2011 at Agricom Company Group doo, Sombor, Serbia.
He graduated from Northwood University, Midland, MI, USA in 2008 with BBA dual major: Marketing/Management; and made the Dean’s List, as an Honor Student.  Aleksandar is Member of the Trilateral Commission. Also, member of the board of the Chamber of Commerce and member of the Business board City of Sombor – for advising city major for businesses development and member of the city Parliament in Sombor.

Cristina Cionga, Deputy Managing Director at Forumul APPR, Romania

Cristina is the Deputy Managing Director of FAPPR. She has over thirty years of experience as a policy economist and public affairs professional, both in the public sector and global agribusiness companies, where she held various management roles. She studied economics in Bucharest, specializing in data analysis, and complemented her training with international agricultural management and public policy programs at prestigious institutions such as Harvard and Georgetown University. She authored or co-authored over 30 papers related to Romania’s farming sector and is committed to promoting sustainable and progressive farming practices.
The Forum of Professional Farmers and Processors from Romania (FAPPR) is a professional organization established in 2012. Currently it is a federative structure of farmers and primary processors. FAPPR's main objective is to advocate for fair and proportionate public policy measures at both national and EU level by actively engaging in a transparent civil dialogue.

Florin Bratucu, Senior Grain Trader at COFCO International, Romania

Florin is a seasoned Senior Trader with extensive experience in food production and commodity trading. He specializes in Negotiation, Commodity Risk Management, Business Planning, International Trade, and Food & Beverage trading. A finance professional, he holds a degree in Enterprise Management and Accounting from Bucharest University of Economic Studies
Since April 2017, Florin has been Senior Grain Trader at COFCO International Romania SRL. He manages corn and barley trading, oversees trading positions, and develops strategies to optimize performance. His responsibilities include market analysis, supply and demand reports, crop assessments, and monitoring export-import trade flows for oilseeds. Florin also leads business development in Bulgaria and Serbia, driving regional growth and market expansion. Additionally, he manages profit and loss, meeting budgetary targets and financial objectives. 
Before COFCO International, Florin was Commercial Manager at Glencore Protein Romania SR from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, he spent over seven years as Trading Manager at Cargill Agricultura SRL and began his career as a Sales Representative at Kerry Foods. 
With nearly two decades of trading and leadership experience, Florin continues to drive growth and deliver results in the agribusiness sector.

Semir Özgentürk, Commercial & Value Chain Director at Bunge, Türkiye

With over 20 years of experience in the food and agricultural sectors, Semir is currently the Commercial Director at Bunge Türkiye, one of Turkey’s largest agribusinesses. He has extensive expertise in leading commercial operations, including trading, sales, procurement, and pricing for soft oilseeds and vegetable oils. Throughout his career, Semir has worked also in multinational companies like Danone and BASF, where he honed his skills in the food business.
At Bunge Türkiye, Semir oversees key aspects of the business, including the management of top edible oil brands across various sales channels, with a strong focus on the Black Sea region. His role also involves aligning the company’s operations with sustainability goals and strategic growth objectives, ensuring that Bunge Türkiye remains a leader in its industry. An active board member of key industry associations, Semir is dedicated to advancing the agricultural sector in Turkey. His educational background includes an engineering degree and an MBA, both of which have equipped him with the ability to thrive in complex, high-intensity environments.  Passionate about football and travel, Semir enjoys exploring the world while remaining committed to his work.

Todor Stoykov, Trader and Chairman of the Management Board at Bulgarian Association of Grain and Feed Traders (BAGFT), Bulgaria

Todor is the Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian Association of Grain and Feed Traders (BAGFT). He has represented Glencore Agriculture Bulgaria / Viterra Bulgaria in BAGFT since 2016 and became a member of the Management Board of the association in 2018. He was subsequently appointed as acting Chairman of the Management Board of BAGFT in 2021, before being elected as Chairman in 2023. 
He is also the Manager and Senior Trader of Viterra Bulgaria. He started his career in agricultural commodities trading in 2015 as a Junior Trader in Glencore Grain Bulgaria and quickly moved up the ranks to lead the company’s business in Bulgaria in what is nowadays Viterra Bulgaria. His prior work experience includes 4 years as a Management Consultant with KPMG Bulgaria and Business Development Manager roles with IT and metals trading companies in Bulgaria.
He holds an MSc degree in Management, Organisations and Governance from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BSc degree in International Economics and Management from Bocconi University, Italy.

Sunchitsa Savovich, Economist & Managing Director at Serbia Grains Association, Serbia

Sunchitsa is an agricultural economist with 18 years of professional experience in the Serbian grains and oilseeds sector, located in Belgrade, Serbia. She is focused on data management and developing accurate analysis as a key to successful grains and oilseeds production and trading operations.
Besides the leading position as the association of grains and oilseeds producers, traders and processors, mineral fertilizers producers, exporters & quality control companies, Serbia Grains Association, during its 46 years of work, has developed the most reputable and reliable market information report for farmers and traders in Serbia and Balkans region, Serbia Grains Weekly report, where Sunchitsa contributes as the editor.
