Supply chain economics. Do we all have negative margins?

Grain Trading - One Battle After Another

Every four years, in February, a new major war unfolds — bringing with it a new wave of uncertainty.

Against this backdrop, the grain supply chain is increasingly shaped by pressures coming from multiple directions: farm economics, climate risks, logistics constraints and shifting demand across key consuming markets.

In the discussion panel titled "Supply chain economics. Major challenges. Are we "lost in translation"?" at EuroGrainExchange 2026, speakers representing production, trading, logistics and the feed sector will explore how these elements interact across the grain market and what pressures are shaping the grain supply chain today.
